Jetmir Idrizi is an award winning photographer from Prishtina, Kosovo based between Berlin, Germany and Brasil. He studied journalism. After working for 7 years in a daily newspaper as a photojournalist and freelancing as a photojournalist for another 4 years in his home country Kosovo, he moved to Brazil to pursue his personal projects and since then he has divided his time between Brasil, Argentina and Germany. His work focuses on social and human rights issues, memory and gender identity. He is the Winner of the first prize in Campaign Category from Sony World Photography Awards in 2016 for his project on gender identity and sexuality in Brasil and also winner of International Photography Prize Gjon Mili in 2012 awarded by National Art Gallery of Kosovo. He has been published in many international newspapers and magazines and also was part of many exhibitions including a solo show at the National Art Gallery of Kosovo in 2025 with his project Power of Desire.
